If you have never heard of "Dry Mounting" before, here is a brief explaination for you.

Dry Mounting is a popular technique for sticking down art work without using a messy paste or spray adhesive. The Hotpress machine shown above is used to heat a sheet of tissue adhesive sandwiched between the art and the backing board, the machine will also suck all the air out to stop any ripples apppearing.

Dry Mounting is only only used on photos, low cost prints and posters, it is not suitable for high value prints / Limited Editions, this is because it is very difficult to reverse and could effect the re-sale value of the artwork.
